So, what is canyella?
Canyella is a spice with a warm, sweet, and slightly spicy flavor commonly used in baking and cooking. Also known as cinnamon, canyella is obtained from the inner bark of several trees of the genus Cinnamomum, which are native to Southeast Asia. It contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that promote good health, and has been used for thousands of years for medicinal purposes. Canyella is versatile and can be added to sweet and savory dishes, ranging from apple pies to soups and stews, giving them a unique aroma and taste.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
