So, what is carbonato sódico?
Carbonato sódico, also known as sodium carbonate, is a white, odorless, and alkaline powder with a molecular formula of Na2CO3. It is a commonly used food ingredient that is used as a leavening agent, pH adjuster, and stabilizer in a variety of processed foods such as baked goods, noodles, and snacks. Carbonato sódico is also used in the production of glass, soap, and paper, as well as in water treatment and as a cleaning agent. It is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA and has a long history of use in food and other industries.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
