So, what is champignon noir?
Champignon noir, also known as black trumpet mushroom, is a type of mushroom that grows in forests throughout North America and Europe. It has a unique trumpet-like shape and a black or dark brown color. The texture is delicate and slightly chewy, with a fruity and slightly smoky flavor that intensifies when cooked. Champignon noir is a popular ingredient in French cuisine, particularly in sauces and stews, and is known for its ability to add depth and complexity to dishes. It's also a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, making it a nutritious addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
