So, what is chirimoya?
Chirimoya, also known as custard apple, is a tropical fruit native to South America. The fruit is heart-shaped, with a green scaly skin that is easily peeled to reveal creamy white flesh that is fragrant and sweet, with a custard-like texture. Chirimoya is a rich source of vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, making it a nutritious addition to any diet. Its unique flavor profile has been described as a combination of banana, pineapple, and strawberry. Chirimoya is commonly eaten fresh, but can also be used in smoothies, desserts, and other culinary applications.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
