So, what is chlorophylle cuivrique?
Chlorophylle cuivrique, also known as copper chlorophyllin, is a water-soluble derivative of chlorophyll that is commonly used as a natural food coloring and dietary supplement. It is derived from the leaves of the alfalfa plant, which is processed to extract the chlorophyll and then chemically modified to replace the magnesium atom with a copper atom. This process increases its stability and solubility in water, making it ideal for use in a variety of food and beverage products. Copper chlorophyllin has a bright green color and is often used to add color to foods such as ice cream, baked goods, and candy. It is also believed to have health benefits, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
