So, what is chlorure de magnèsium?
Chlorure de magnésium, also known as magnesium chloride, is a naturally occurring mineral that is commonly used as a food ingredient. It is a white crystalline substance that is highly soluble in water and has a slightly bitter taste. Magnesium chloride is a good source of magnesium, an essential mineral that plays a vital role in many bodily functions, including nerve and muscle function, bone health, and energy production. It is often added to foods such as sports drinks and nutritional supplements to help replenish electrolytes lost during exercise or other strenuous activities. Magnesium chloride is also used as a natural coagulant in the production of tofu and as a flavor enhancer in some types of beer.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
