So, what is choux blanc?
Choux blanc, also known as white cabbage, is a cruciferous vegetable that belongs to the Brassicaceae family. This round-shaped vegetable has a pale green to white color with tightly packed, crisp leaves. It has a slightly sweet and mild flavor with a crunchy texture. Choux blanc is rich in vitamins C and K, dietary fiber, and antioxidants, making it a great addition to a healthy diet. This versatile ingredient can be enjoyed raw in salads, pickled, or cooked in stir-fries, soups, stews, and casseroles.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
