So, what is copos de arroz?
Copos de arroz is a Spanish term that translates to "rice flakes" in English. These thin, flat, and slightly crunchy flakes are made by flattening rice grains and are a versatile ingredient used in a wide range of dishes. Copos de arroz can be used as a healthy and gluten-free alternative to other breakfast cereals, as a topping for yogurt or smoothie bowls, or even as a substitute for breadcrumbs in recipes. Due to their mild taste, they can also be incorporated into savory dishes like salads or stir-fries, adding a subtle crunch and nutrition boost to the meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
