So, what is çrème de coco?

Crème de coco, also known as coconut cream, is a thick, creamy and rich extract of coconut flesh that is commonly used in Southeast Asian and Caribbean cuisine. It is made by grating the white flesh of mature coconuts and then squeezing it through a cheesecloth to extract the thick cream. Crème de coco has a deliciously sweet and nutty flavor, and a smooth and velvety texture that adds a luxurious creaminess to dishes. It is often used as a dairy-free alternative to cream in curries, soups, desserts, and cocktails, and is a great source of healthy fats and fiber.
