So, what is dattel?
Dattels, also known as dates, are a sweet and nutritious fruit that comes from the date palm tree. These small, oval-shaped fruits are native to the Middle East and have been cultivated for thousands of years. Dattels are a rich source of energy, fiber, and essential minerals such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium. They are also high in antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties. Dattels have a caramel-like taste and a chewy texture, making them a popular ingredient in many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. They can be eaten fresh or dried, and are often used in desserts, smoothies, and energy bars.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
