So, what is de cèpe?
De cèpe is a type of mushroom that grows wild in the forests of Europe. It is also known as porcini or king bolete, and is highly prized for its rich, meaty flavor and firm, meaty texture. De cèpe has a distinctive appearance, with a large, round cap that ranges in color from brown to almost black, and a thick stem that is often wider at the base than at the top. This versatile ingredient can be used in a variety of dishes, from soups and stews to risottos and pasta sauces, and is particularly delicious when sautéed with garlic and herbs.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
