So, what is de girolle?
De girolle, also known as the golden chanterelle, is a wild mushroom that grows abundantly in temperate forests. Its cap is vase-shaped, with a wavy edge, and ranges in color from yellow to orange. The stem is thick and fibrous, with a pale yellow hue. De girolle has a distinctive fruity and peppery flavor that pairs well with meats, seafood, and pasta dishes. It is a popular ingredient in French cuisine, and is often sautéed in butter or cream for a rich and savory dish. This versatile mushroom is also a great source of vitamins and minerals, making it a healthy addition to any diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
