So, what is de la l-carnitine?
L-carnitine, also known as levocarnitine, is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative that plays a crucial role in metabolism by transporting fatty acids into cells' mitochondria for energy production. It can be found in high-protein foods such as red meat, poultry, and fish, as well as in smaller amounts in dairy and some vegetables. L-carnitine supplements are popular among athletes and bodybuilders to boost performance, reduce muscle damage and aid recovery. Additionally, it has been studied for its potential benefits in heart health, brain function, and weight loss. However, more research is needed to fully understand its effects.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
