So, what is difosfato dissódico?
Difosfato dissódico, also known as disodium pyrophosphate, is a food additive commonly used in the food industry as a stabilizer, emulsifier, and thickener. It is a white, odorless powder that is soluble in water and commonly found in processed foods such as canned meats, bakery products, and potato chips. Difosfato dissódico is safe for consumption in small amounts but excessive intake may result in gastrointestinal disturbances. As with all food additives, it's important to consume difosfato dissódico in moderation and be aware of any potential adverse reactions.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
