So, what is farine de froment maltée?

Farine de froment maltée, also known as malted wheat flour, is a type of flour made from wheat grains that have been soaked in water and then allowed to sprout, or germinate, before they are dried and ground into flour. This process of malting the wheat enhances the flour's natural sweetness and nutty flavor, while also making it more nutritious and easier to digest. Malted wheat flour is often used in baking, particularly for breads, cakes, and cookies, to add flavor and improve the texture of the finished product. It can also be used as a thickener in soups and stews, or as a coating for fried foods.
