So, what is gul morot?
Gul morot, also known as yellow carrot, is a vibrant and sweet root vegetable that is a member of the carrot family. While it may look similar to its orange cousin, gul morot boasts a slightly sweeter and milder flavor. Its beautiful yellow color comes from the presence of the pigment xanthophyll, which is also found in other yellow-hued foods like corn and egg yolks. Gul morot is packed with nutrients, including vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium, making it a healthy and delicious addition to a variety of dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
