So, what is kokosfett?
Kokosfett is a versatile and flavorful ingredient used in many different types of cuisines around the world. Derived from the meat of mature coconuts, this pure white, creamy fat is a rich source of medium-chain fatty acids that provide a host of health benefits. Kokosfett is solid at room temperature, but melts quickly when heated, making it an excellent cooking oil. It adds a distinctive tropical flavor to dishes, and is particularly well-suited for use in desserts, baked goods, and curries. In addition to its culinary uses, kokosfett is also a popular ingredient in cosmetics and skin care products, thanks to its moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
