So, what is laktáz enzim?
Laktáz enzim is a natural protein-based substance that acts as a catalyst in the breakdown of lactose, a type of sugar found in milk and dairy products. This enzyme is produced by certain microorganisms, including bacteria and yeast, and is commonly used in the food industry to help individuals who are lactose intolerant enjoy dairy products without experiencing digestive discomfort. Laktáz enzim works by breaking down lactose into simpler forms of sugars, such as glucose and galactose, which are easier for the body to digest. This ingredient is an important tool for creating lactose-free or reduced-lactose food products, including milk, yogurt, cheese, and ice cream.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
