So, what is laktoza?
Laktoza, also known as lactose, is a natural sugar found in milk and dairy products. It is a disaccharide composed of glucose and galactose, and is typically broken down by the enzyme lactase in the small intestine. However, some individuals may have lactose intolerance, which occurs when the body is unable to produce enough lactase to break down lactose properly. Laktoza is often used as an ingredient in food production, particularly in the dairy industry, and can be found in a variety of products such as cheese, ice cream, and yogurt. It is also used as a sweetener in certain foods and beverages.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
