So, what is lanolin wax?
Lanolin wax is a natural wax derived from sheep's wool. It is a yellowish-brown, odorless, and greasy substance that is commonly used in cosmetics, skin care products, and pharmaceuticals. Lanolin wax is prized for its emollient properties, which help to moisturize and protect the skin. It is also used as a binding agent in various types of cosmetics and as a lubricant in the manufacturing of pills and tablets. Because it is derived from wool, lanolin wax is a renewable resource that is both sustainable and eco-friendly.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
