So, what is le saccharose?
Le saccharose, also known as table sugar or sucrose, is a common ingredient in many foods and beverages. It is a naturally occurring carbohydrate that is extracted from sugar cane or sugar beets. Le saccharose is a disaccharide made up of glucose and fructose molecules bonded together, which gives it its sweet taste. This versatile ingredient is used to sweeten everything from desserts and baked goods to sauces and marinades. Le saccharose also plays a role in food preservation, as it inhibits the growth of bacteria and helps extend the shelf life of many products.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
