So, what is lente-ui?
Lente-ui, also known as "spring onion" or "scallion," is a flavorful and versatile vegetable used in a variety of dishes. This long, slender green onion has a mild yet distinct flavor that is slightly sweeter and less pungent than regular onions. With a crisp texture and a slightly fibrous stalk, lente-ui is often used as a garnish or a key ingredient in soups, stews, stir-fries, and salads. It is also commonly used in Asian cuisine, adding a depth of flavor to dishes such as fried rice and noodle soups. Lente-ui is a low-calorie vegetable that is rich in vitamins and minerals, making it a healthy addition to any diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
