So, what is magnézium-sztearát?
Magnézium-sztearát, also known as magnesium stearate, is a commonly used food ingredient and additive. It is a white, odorless powder with a waxy texture that is used as a lubricant and anti-caking agent. Magnesium stearate is made by combining magnesium with stearic acid, a fatty acid derived from plant and animal sources. It is often added to supplements, vitamins, and processed foods to help prevent ingredients from sticking together and to improve the consistency of the final product. While magnesium stearate is generally recognized as safe by regulatory agencies, some people may be sensitive to it and experience adverse reactions.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
