So, what is malt av korn?
Malt av korn, or malted barley in English, is a key ingredient in the production of beer and other malt-based beverages. It is made by sprouting barley grains and then drying them in a process known as malting. This causes enzymes to break down the starch in the barley, creating sugars that are essential for fermentation. Malt av korn also contributes to the color, aroma, and flavor of the finished product. In addition to its use in brewing, malt av korn is also used in the production of whiskey, malt vinegar, and certain baked goods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
