So, what is mirtilo?
Mirtilo, also known as blueberry, is a small, round, dark blue fruit that is packed with nutrients and antioxidants. Native to North America, it has a sweet and slightly tart flavor that makes it a popular ingredient in many dishes, including desserts, jams, and smoothies. The deep blue color of the mirtilo comes from pigments called anthocyanins, which are believed to have numerous health benefits, including improved heart health, cognitive function, and inflammation reduction. Mirtilos are also low in calories and high in fiber, making them a great addition to a healthy diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
