So, what is morötter?
Morötter, also known as carrots, are root vegetables that belong to the Apiaceae family. They are typically orange in color, although there are varieties that come in other colors like purple, white, and yellow. Carrots are known for their sweet taste and crunchy texture, making them a popular ingredient in many dishes, from salads and soups to stews and casseroles. Besides their delicious flavor, carrots are also packed with nutrients like beta-carotene, vitamin K, and potassium, which are essential for maintaining good health. Whether eaten raw, cooked, or juiced, morötter are a versatile and nutritious addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
