So, what is natriumguanylaat?
Natriumguanylaat, also known as sodium guanylate, is a flavor enhancer commonly used in processed foods. It is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in water and has a slightly bitter taste. Natriumguanylaat is often used in combination with monosodium glutamate (MSG) to enhance umami flavors in foods. It is also used as a natural alternative to MSG in some products. Natriumguanylaat is derived from dried fish or seaweed, and is generally recognized as safe by regulatory agencies. However, some people may be sensitive to it and may experience allergic reactions.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
