So, what is non hydrogenated vegetable oil?
Non-hydrogenated vegetable oil is a versatile and healthy cooking oil derived from plant sources such as corn, canola, sunflower, soybean, and olive. Unlike hydrogenated oils, which undergo a process that converts liquid vegetable oils into solid fats, non-hydrogenated vegetable oils remain in their natural liquid state. Non-hydrogenated vegetable oil is rich in unsaturated fats and has been shown to help lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. It is also free from harmful trans fats that are commonly found in hydrogenated oils. With its mild flavor and high smoke point, non-hydrogenated vegetable oil is perfect for sautéing, frying, baking, and salad dressings.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
