So, what is olive noire.?
Olive noire, or black olive, is a small, oval-shaped fruit with a firm, meaty texture and a rich, salty flavor. These olives are picked at full maturity, and their deep black color is the result of natural ripening on the tree. Typically brine-cured, they are often sold pitted and are a staple in Mediterranean cuisine, adding a bold, robust flavor to dishes like pizzas, salads, and pastas. Rich in healthy monounsaturated fats, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds, olive noire is not only a delicious ingredient but also a nutritious one.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
