So, what is passions fruit?
Passion fruit is a tropical fruit that is native to South America, but now grows in many other parts of the world. It is a small, round fruit with a tough, wrinkled exterior that ranges in color from yellow to purple. The inside of the fruit is filled with a jelly-like pulp that is both sweet and tart, with a distinct tropical flavor. The pulp is dotted with small, black seeds that are edible and add a satisfying crunch. Passion fruit is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes, from sweet desserts to savory sauces and marinades. It is also a good source of vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
