So, what is pasztinák?
Pasztinák, also known as parsnips, are a root vegetable commonly used in traditional European cuisine. With a slightly sweet and nutty flavor and firm texture, they can be enjoyed roasted, mashed, fried, or added to soups and stews. Pasztinák are packed with vitamins B, C, and K, as well as fiber and antioxidants, making them a great addition to any healthy diet. They also contain high levels of potassium, which supports heart health and can lower blood pressure levels. Whether cooked alone or combined with other ingredients, pasztinák can add depth and complexity to any dish.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
