So, what is pomegranate seed?
Pomegranate seeds are ruby-red, jewel-like arils nestled inside a tough, leathery skin that encases the fruit. Each seed is packed with tart, sweet, and juicy flesh that bursts with flavor when bitten into. These little seeds are not only visually stunning but also packed with nutrition, boasting high levels of antioxidants, vitamins C and K, and fiber. They can be enjoyed on their own as a snack, used to add a pop of color and flavor to salads, or sprinkled on top of yogurt and smoothie bowls. Pomegranate seeds add a delightful burst of flavor and nutrition to any dish they grace.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
