So, what is potato flour?
Potato flour is a gluten-free and versatile flour made from whole potatoes. It has a light, fine texture and a nutty, earthy flavor, making it an excellent substitute for wheat flour in various recipes. Potato flour is an excellent source of dietary fiber, protein, and vitamins, particularly vitamin C. It is also a popular ingredient in gluten-free baking, as it can help bind ingredients together and create a fluffy texture. Due to its low moisture content, potato flour has a longer shelf life than regular wheat flour. It can be used to make bread, pancakes, waffles, and even pasta.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
