So, what is πράσο?
Πράσο, also known as "praso," is a flavorful and aromatic vegetable that belongs to the allium family. It has long green stalks with small bulbous roots and a mild, sweet taste that is similar to onions or garlic. Praso is commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine, particularly in Greek salads, soups, and stews. This versatile ingredient can be eaten raw or cooked and is an excellent source of fiber, vitamins C and K, and antioxidants. Its unique flavor and nutritional benefits make it a must-have in any healthy and delicious meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
