So, what is prugne secche?
Prugne secche, also known as dried plums or prunes, are a sweet and chewy ingredient commonly used in cooking and baking. These plums are harvested at their peak ripeness, and then dried to remove most of their moisture, which concentrates their natural sweetness and flavor. Prugne secche can be enjoyed on their own as a healthy snack, or added to dishes like stews, oatmeal, or baked goods to add a touch of sweetness and depth of flavor. They are also a good source of dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals, making them a nutritious addition to any diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
