So, what is ringblomma?
Ringblomma, also known as Calendula, is a herbaceous plant species that belongs to the daisy family. It is characterized by its bright yellow and orange flowers, which are commonly used in various culinary applications. The flowers of ringblomma are rich in essential oils and possess a slightly bitter and peppery taste with floral undertones. They are often used as a natural food coloring and flavoring agent in salads, soups, and stews. Ringblomma is also believed to have medicinal properties, such as anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects, and has been used traditionally in herbal medicine for centuries.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
