So, what is ruby port?
Ruby Port is a fortified wine made from grapes grown in the Douro Valley of Portugal. The wine is aged in oak barrels for two to three years, giving it a rich, full-bodied flavor with hints of cherry, plum, and chocolate. It is called "ruby" because of its deep, ruby-red color. Ruby Port is commonly served as a dessert wine, and pairs well with chocolate and fruit-based desserts. Its sweet, fruity taste also makes it a popular ingredient in cooking, adding depth and complexity to savory sauces and marinades.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
