So, what is solrosolja?
Solrosolja, also known as sunflower oil, is a versatile and widely used cooking oil. It is extracted from the seeds of the sunflower plant and is pale yellow in color with a mild flavor. Solrosolja is rich in vitamin E and is considered to be a healthier alternative to other vegetable oils due to its high monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat content. It has a high smoke point, making it suitable for high-heat cooking methods such as frying and baking. Solrosolja is also used in the cosmetic industry for its moisturizing properties, and in some countries, it is used as a fuel source for vehicles.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
