So, what is sorgho?
Sorgho, also known as sorghum, is a versatile and gluten-free cereal grain that has been a staple food in many cultures for centuries. It is a tall, hardy grass that can grow in harsh environments and is often used for animal feed and biofuel production. However, its nutritional value and unique flavor have also made it a popular ingredient in human diets. Sorgho is rich in fiber, protein, and antioxidants, and can be cooked into a variety of dishes such as porridge, stews, and baked goods. It is also a key ingredient in many traditional fermented beverages, such as beer and sorghum molasses.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
