So, what is black tea leaves?
Black tea leaves are a popular ingredient in many cuisines, prized for their bold, rich flavor and robust aroma. These tea leaves are harvested from the Camellia sinensis plant, which is native to China and India, and then undergo a withering and oxidation process before being dried and packaged. The resulting tea leaves have a deep, dark color and are known for their tannic flavor and slightly bitter finish. Black tea leaves can be used to add a distinctive flavor to a variety of dishes, from marinades and rubs to baked goods and desserts. They are also a popular choice for brewing a hot cup of tea, either on their own or blended with other ingredients for a unique flavor experience.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
