So, what is sucre brun?

Sucre brun, also known as brown sugar, is a natural sweetener with a deep, rich flavor and a warm, caramel-like aroma. It is made by mixing granulated white sugar with molasses, which gives it its distinctive color and taste. Unlike white sugar, which is highly refined and stripped of its natural nutrients, sucre brun retains some of the molasses content and thus contains small amounts of minerals such as calcium, iron, and potassium. It is a popular ingredient in baking and cooking, as well as in marinades and sauces for its unique flavor and texture.
