So, what is taccole?
Taccole, also known as Italian flat beans or "papadi", are a unique and flavorful ingredient with a delicate texture. They are slender, flat pods that grow up to 8 inches long and are a rich green color. Unlike other bean varieties, taccole have a crisp and tender bite when cooked, making them perfect for stir-fries, salads, and soups. Their mild flavor pairs well with bright herbs like parsley and lemon, making them a versatile addition to any dish. Taccole are also packed with nutrients, including fiber, potassium, and vitamin C, making them a healthy choice for any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
