So, what is tournesol?
Tournesol is the French word for sunflower, which is a plant known for its large, bright yellow flowers. The seeds of the sunflower, which are used in cooking and baking, are a popular ingredient known as tournesol. These seeds are rich in healthy fats, protein, and fiber, and have a slightly nutty flavor. Tournesol can be used in a variety of dishes, such as salads, breads, and desserts, and can be roasted or seasoned to add extra flavor. It is also a common ingredient in trail mix and granola bars.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
