So, what is vitamine?
Vitamine is an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health and wellness. It is a type of organic compound that our body requires in small amounts for various physiological functions, such as growth, development, and immunity. Vitamines are classified into two groups: water-soluble and fat-soluble. Water-soluble vitamines, such as vitamin C and B-complex vitamines, are easily absorbed by the body but not stored, so they must be replenished regularly through diet or supplements. Fat-soluble vitamines, such as vitamin A, D, E, and K, are absorbed with the help of dietary fat and stored in the body's fatty tissues. Vitamines are found naturally in a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, grains, meats, and dairy products, or can be taken in the form of dietary supplements.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
