So, what is yellow granadilla?
Yellow granadilla, also known as Passiflora ligularis, is a tropical fruit with a thin, yet tough outer shell that encases a translucent yellow pulp and black edible seeds. The pulp has a sweet and tangy taste, similar to that of a passion fruit, but with a more subtle flavor. This fruit is rich in vitamins A and C, and is a good source of fiber, potassium, and calcium. Its versatility makes it an excellent ingredient for drinks, desserts, and sauces, adding a burst of tropical flavor to any recipe.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
