So, what is niacīns?

Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in the conversion of food into energy. It helps to metabolize fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, and supports the proper functioning of the nervous system, digestive system, and skin. Niacin can be found naturally in foods like meats, fish, and nuts, or can be taken as a dietary supplement. Deficiency in niacin can lead to a condition called pellagra, which is characterized by symptoms like skin rash, diarrhea, and mental confusion. However, excessive intake of niacin can also have adverse effects on the body, so it's important to maintain a balanced intake.
