So, what is protéine de soja hydrolysées?
Protéine de soja hydrolysées, or hydrolyzed soy protein, is a highly processed form of soy protein that has been broken down into smaller chains of amino acids through the process of hydrolysis. This makes it easier for the body to digest and absorb, as well as enhancing its flavor and texture properties. As a popular alternative to animal-based proteins, hydrolyzed soy protein is often used in vegetarian and vegan products such as meat substitutes, protein bars, and energy drinks. It is also commonly used as a food additive to enhance the nutritional profile of processed foods, and as a binding or thickening agent in sauces, soups, and other culinary applications.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
