So, what is radis blancs?
Radis blancs, also known as white radishes or daikon radishes, are a cruciferous vegetable with a crispy texture and mildly spicy flavor. These root vegetables have a cylindrical shape and a white, ivory-colored skin. With their subtle yet distinctive taste, radis blancs are a versatile ingredient in many cuisines, from Japanese to Vietnamese to French. They can be eaten raw in salads, pickled for a tangy crunch, or cooked in soups and stews. Radis blancs are also rich in nutrients, including vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, making them a healthy addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
