So, what is ' sucre de canne?
Sucre de canne is a natural sweetener that is derived from sugarcane, a tropical grass plant. This unrefined sugar is made by boiling and evaporating sugarcane juice until it crystallizes. Unlike refined white sugar, sucre de canne retains some of its natural molasses and minerals, giving it a distinct caramel-like flavor and a darker color. It can be used as a healthier alternative to white sugar in baking, cooking, and beverages. Sucre de canne also adds a delightful texture and depth of flavor to desserts, breakfast cereals, and hot beverages like tea and coffee.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
