So, what is aceite de palma fraccionado?
Aceite de palma fraccionado, also known as fractionated palm oil, is a highly versatile and stable cooking oil derived from the fruit of oil palm trees. Through a process of fractionation, the oil is separated into its liquid and solid components, resulting in a more stable product with a longer shelf life. This type of palm oil has a neutral flavor and high smoke point, making it a popular choice for frying, baking, and other high-heat cooking applications. Aceite de palma fraccionado is also used as an ingredient in a variety of food products, including margarine, chocolate, and baked goods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
